11-13.12.2024 Vrnjačka Banja, workshop "Results of census simulation based on administrative registers"

As a part of the post-census activities planned under IPA 2018 Project, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia organized a workshop in Vrnjačka Banja from 11 to 13 December 2024 entitled "Results of the census simulation based on administrative registers, with special focus on the availability and quality of population and housing data".

In addition to employees from SORS, the workshop was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-government, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, the Central Register of Compulsory Social Insurance, the Office for IT and E-Government, the Post of Serbia, the Republic Fund of Health Insurance, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund , the National Employment Service, the Republic Institute for Social Protection, the Business Registers Agency, the Tax Administration, the Public Utility Company Waterworks and Sewerage, the City Administration of the City of Belgrade, the City Municipality of Stari Grad and the City Municipality of Zvezdara. The Workshop was organized with the aim of introducing the owners of administrative databases to the results of the analysis of the availability and quality of administrative sources for the purposes of conducting the census.
