Conference "Roadmap and Action Plan for Census 2031 Implementation"

The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia organized the Conference entitled "Roadmap and Action Plan for 2031 Census Implementation" from 26^th to 28^th February 2025 in Vrnjačka Banja.

In addition to employees of SORS, the conference was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Family Care and Demography, the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU), the Central Register of Compulsory Social Insurance, the Office for IT and eGovernment, the Post of Serbia, the Republic Fund of Health Insurance, the Pension Fund, the National Employment Service, the Republic Social Protection Institute, the Business Registers Agency, the Tax Administration, the Public Utility Company Water and Sewerage, the City Administration of the City of Belgrade - Statistics Sector, the City Municipality of Stari Grad and the City Municipality of Zvezdara, the Local Tax Administration of Belgrade, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, The Agency for Spatial Planning and Urbanism, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, the Secretariat for Public Policies, the Standing Conference of Cities and Municipalities, the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, and the Institute of Architecture and Urban and Spatial Planning of Serbia.

The aim of the conference was to present to the participants the results of the census simulation based on administrative registers, as well as the draft Roadmap for the implementation of the forthcoming Census in 2031, including the action plan for the period 2025–2031.
