Rooms and Auxiliary Premises in Dwelling

In the book "Rooms and Auxiliary Premises in Dwelling" the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia publishes the final results of the 2022 Census of Population, Households and Dwellings, by number of rooms and availability of kitchen, bathroom and toilet in a dwelling. The data are published for all dwellings, particularly for the occupied ones, by municipalities and cities.

According to the final results of the Census, among the total number of enumerated dwellings in the Republic of Serbia (3 613 352) the most numerous are two-room and three-room dwellings – 2 324 624 (or 64.7%), kitchen is available in 3 544 783 dwellings (or 98.1%) and bathroom in 3 267 337 dwellings (or 90.4%). When looking only at occupied dwellings, among the total number of enumerated occupied dwellings (2 625 711) the most numerous are two-room and three-room dwellings - 1 683 386, (or 64.1%), kitchen is available in 2 613 118 (99.5%) and bathroom in 2 533 321 (96.5%).
